What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!  Half way through the work week, yay!

 Here's what I'm LOVING today-

I'm totally loving that it's going to hit 50 degrees in Boston today!

I'm loving that Friday is April, and April means- RED SOX start! :)

I'm loving that my face doesn't look this, she scares me.  Elsa Patton, Marysol's mother on Real Housewives of Miami.  To think she did this to herself, so sad!

I'm loving that I have great friends and that they amuse me, check out my friend Beth's blog about reality tv!

I'm loving country music BIG TIME lately.

I'm loving that I get to see these fine looking men this summer!

But most of all, I'm LOVING this song.  love love love it.

Lovely little Sunday.

Hey guys!  Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!  My weekend was busy, but fun.  Yesterday I spent the day with some of my best girlfriends.  We did a little shopping, tried on bridesmaid dresses and then went out to dinner.  I had some luck at my favorite store, as usual.  I don't think I can ever leave Anthropologie empty-handed!  I tried find the shirt I bought online but had no luck.  Here is an awful iphone picture of it.  I love it!  It was on sale for $39.95, originally $68!

Another one of my lucky finds was a wild woodland vase. I got the middle one on the right, if that makes any sense?!  It was on sale for $14.95, originally $28!

On a side note, one of my favorite celebrities got married this weekend!  I absolutely love Reese Witherspoon and I'm so happy for her.  I just wish I could see some pictures of the amazing wedding. Although I secretly was wishing that she stayed with Jake Gyllenhaal.  I thought they made the cutest couple.  I suppose Jim Toth isn't so bad, I just prefer Jake! (I'm not sure why she isn't smiling in this picture?)

What did everyone else do this weekend?!  Happy Monday!

What I'm Loving Wednesday

Hey guys! I wanted to try and make this a daily blog but, I'm failing!  I need to get back on track. Hope I manage to get some followers and really start this going!  I've been super busy lately but, I promise I'm back.

I can't believe it's Wednesday already!  I've always loved reading blogs that participate in what I'm loving Wednesday, so I think I'm gonna try it today!

Some things that I'm loving-

I'm LOVING that my handsome boyfriend finished his first 5k this past weekend! (in 27:26) I'm so proud of him!  I'd show you a picture from the race but I can't find my camera cord :(  So here's a regular ol' picture of him.
I'm LOVING that I get to see all of the girls on Sunday for bridesmaid dress shopping for Michele's big day!  Here's a sneak peak of what we're going to check out.
I'm LOVING that 3 weeks from tomorrow, I'll be in sunny Florida!
    My hotel pool!  Can't wait!
I'm LOVING that Tory Burch designed a Japan Relief T-Shirt and that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to American Red Cross to benefit the tsunami and earthquake relief efforts.

Wearing of the green.

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!

In honor of the holiday, I'm wearing my green.  Are you?!  I decided to go with a green cardigan and flats today.  Wearing green on St. Patrick's Day doesn't always have to be over the top.  I prefer my wearing of the green to be subtle, yet still feel festive and proud to be Irish on a day like today.  The green things that I'm wearing today can be worn anytime of the year.  I decided to go with two of my favorites.

Jackie Cardigan from J.Crew in Hawthorn Green

and a new found favorite,
The patent city flat from Gap, in green space.

They look like different colors but I promise they're the same.  The city flat from Gap is the comfiest ballet flat that I've ever had.  I recommend going up a half size though.  They have really soft cushioning inside.  Best part about them was the price.  I got these babies for $19.99!  I bought them about 2 months ago and they still have them in stores and carry other cute spring colors.  Try them out!

Celebrating
When you live in Boston, St. Patrick's Day is a big deal.. I grew up in an Irish neighborhood that certainly knows how to party on St. Patty's Day.  Every year there is a huge parade in my hometown.  St. Patrick's Day celebrations will continue until Sunday in Boston!

Sharing art favorites!

When it came time to look for some art or in this case prints for my apartment, I went on a huge search.  I've always thought that art in the kitchen can be a bit tricky.  I was never a huge fan of paintings of food or those pictures of fat little cooks, with their chef gear on and holding ridiculously big spoons or forks. (everyone is different, not making fun if you're a fan!)  I was looking for something different, something that I've yet to see somewhere and most importantly something cool!  I came across a website based in London, called keep calm gallery that had really awesome prints.  I have to admit, I was a little overwhelmed at first.  This was exactly what I was looking for, but a lot to choose from!  I was thrilled when I saw that they had a decent amount of kitchen prints.

I ended up picking this one and love it!

Another one of my favorites-

And if I had a fireplace or even a mantle, I'd totally put this above it

If you are looking for cool and funky art, I highly recommend them!  Prices are listed in euros but can be converted to usd just by switching the country at the top of the website.  Very convenient!  Just one small thing- shipping takes a bit longer than usual.  It took almost 4 weeks for my print to arrive.

Here Goes Nothing.

Hey guys, I'm Lindsay.  I've slowly but surely become addicted to the blog world.  I can and do waste hours of my time reading about people that are complete strangers to me. I figured that maybe I should start my own blog and join in on all of the fun.  I only wish that I had started this sooner!  It will be fun to look back at my 20's and see that I lived life to the fullest and had a blast doing so. This blog will be a little bit of everything, hence the name.  I'm not sure that I have the most fascinating life, but I hope you'll read and find things that you like.  I'm still learning how to do a lot of things, so bear with me!  Thanks.
